Star Wheel
Working with mad bicycle genius Paul “The Plumber” Cesewski, Vera St. John & I worked to bring light and color to Paul’s 20 foot tall bicycle Ferris wheel.
My primary role was designing the battery powered lighting fixtures, capable of withstanding repeated shocks from the Ferris wheel and the harsh desert climate. I also wrote animation sequences to interact with Vera’s painted panels, and acted as part of the carny support crew during night runs.
