Seraphim
A larger variant of my flying creatures. I got the motivation to make this piece after chancing on a few blue macaw feathers obtained from a bird rescue.
It’s also loosely inspired by the cherubim from Madeleine L’Engle’s, “A Wind In The Door”. Of course, some liberties are being taken with the mixing of literary canon for magical creatures.
The largest of the watchers, Seraphim, was intended to serve as a tool for the Magical Court. They could remain perched high in the rafters, watching over the proceedings below. With the ability to pay attention to multiple
